Isn’t it funny how all sorts of interesting things can happen all at the same time? Over the weekend, I visited Trójmiasto in Poland with my good friend Jesper. We arrived to fantastic weather, and made the most of our time with go-kart racing*, a fancy dinner, some great nightclubbing in Sopot, and even just taking my little whip out for a spin.
Returning on Sunday afternoon wasn’t quite as enjoyable. Our flight was delayed by an hour and customs in Malmö delayed us further. This meant we missed our bus, which connected us with our train back to Göteborg. We ended up being delayed by three hours, and had to buy new train tickets.
Things always get better though. On Tuesday, my new computer arrived. A 1.7 GHz i5 MacBook Air with 4GB RAM, courtesy of my boss. Awesome! It’s unbelievably fast, and handles all my graphics, design and development work, and even some gaming to boot. I also managed to get my hands on iOS5 (thanks Adrian!)
With all this new Apple stuff on my desk, it seems ironic that Steve Jobs, the founder of all of it, died this morning.
